The Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre launches touring programme at the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre
As part of the federal Big Tours programme, a creative exchange between Krasnoyarsk and Vladivostok will take place this summer. From May 28 to June 8, the Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre will tour in Krasnoyarsk, performing at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. In turn, the Krasnoyarsk company will perform in Vladivostok from June 2 to 15.

The First Summer Festival organized by world-renowned pianist Denis Matsuev will take place this June and July in the historic town of Suzdal. Among the distinguished participants is Dmitry Yurovsky, Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.

The Primorsky Stage of the Mariinsky Theatre to open their tour in Krasnoyarsk with Shchedrin’s ballet The Little Humpbacked Horse
The tour is part of the federal programme Big Tours supported by the Russian Ministry of Culture and Rosconcert. The performances of The Little Humpbacked Horse will take place on May 28, 29, and 30 at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.

O-Studio to perform at the Sky festival in Moscow
On May 31 and June 1, the Moscow Children’s Arts Festival Nebo (“Sky”) will take place in the Museon Arts Park. The exemplary Children’s Opera Studio of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre (O-Studio) will present its musical fairy tale Dreamer and His Friends on the festival stage.

The ensemble Minstrels to perform early Baroque works
The premiere of Italy: Love and Harmony, a concert of early Baroque vocal and instrumental chamber music, will take place on May 17 and 18. The show will feature the Minstrels ensemble and musicians from the orchestra of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre.

Olga Basova to perform at the international festival Breath of Baikal
The 14th international festival Breath of Baikal, dedicated to opera music, will take place at the Irkutsk Regional Philharmonic Hall from May 14 to 18. Among the featured artists is mezzo-soprano Olga Basova, a soloist of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
