Theatregoers still have a chance to save Eurydice
The interactive production based on the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice is making a comeback. The thrilling quest to rescue Orpheus’s beloved, which was cancelled last year due to the events at Moscow’s Crocus Hall, will take place on March 22 as part of Theatre Night 2025.

Svetlana Guziy and Demid Zykov have received honorary titles
The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre has welcomed new recipients of prestigious titles. Chief Executive of the Theatre Svetlana Guziy has been given the title of Honoured Figure of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region, while ballet tutor Demid Zykov has been named Honoured Artist of the Krasnoyarsk Region.

The concert Puccini Passions: masterpieces by Maestro Giacomo and beyond
On 5th March, the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre will host the concert Puccini Passions within the festival Stars Parade at the Opera. Slovtsov. Staying true to the concert's title, the majority of the programme will feature works by the great maestro Giacomo Puccini. However, there will also be masterpieces by other Italian composers from the verismo movement – an art style known for its raw portrayal of human passions.

The History of Tango concert to be held at the Siberian Institute of Arts
For the first time, the educational series Orchestra Formula is stepping beyond the walls of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre. Within this project, the Theatre’s chamber orchestra will present an updated programme of The History of Tango at the Hvorostovsky Siberian Institute of Arts on March 22.

STARS PARADE AT THE OPERA. SLOVTSOV: Bolshoi Theatre Soloists to perform The Queen of Spades
On March 15 and 16, soloists from the Bolshoi Theatre—People’s Artist of Russia Irina Dolzhenko (as Countess) and Anna Nechaeva (as Liza)—will perform in Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s opera The Queen of Spades. These shows are part of the international festival Stars Parade at the Opera. Slovtsov. Both singers are well known to Krasnoyarsk audiences.

Violetta Grishko to take part in a musical production based on Henrik Ibsen's play Peer Gynt
The principal singer of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Violetta Grishko will sing in the show based on the iconic play by Norwegian Henrik Ibsen Peer Gynt to the music by Edvard Grieg. The premiere will be held in the Great Hall of the Krasnoyarsk Philharmonic Society on February 18.

Three Italian artists to perform in Puccini Passions
Renowned Italian musicians—soprano Alessandra di Giorgio, tenor Emanuele D’Aguanno, and conductor Filippo Dessi—are set to perform in Puccini Passions, a concert featuring highlights from operas by Italian composers. The event will take place in Krasnoyarsk.

The international gala concert Tenor Parade to take place in Krasnoyarsk for the second time
Within the festival Stars Parade at the Opera. Slovtsov, the gala concert Tenor Parade will be held at the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre on February 23. Opera stars from Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia will participate.
