The principal singers of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Vadim Prudnikov, Ksenia Khovanova and Davit Yesayan took part in the prestigious 25th Ferruccio Tagliavini International Vocal Competition. The competition was held between March 26 and April 2 in the Austrian town of Deutschlandsberg.
On March 27, the festival Theatre Spring-2019 ended with a ceremony of the Crystal Masks awarding for achievements in the field of theatrical art of the Krasnoyarsk Region. The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre earned 10 awards.
On March 20, an awarding ceremony took place in the Great Hall of the Government of the Krasnoyarsk Region. Employees of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre were given the honorific title Honoured Worker of Culture of the Krasnoyarsk Region.
The closing ceremony of the 10th International Festival Stars Parade at the Opera will consist of two gala concerts. On March 28, the concert will be devoted to Russian music. On March 29, vocal and orchestral excerpts from European composers’ works will be performed.
Four shows of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera House will be presented during the Theatre Spring-2019 Festival.
In May, the Moscow Musical Theatre Helikon-Opera will take the stage of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. The two-day tour of the Moscow performers will be a part of the federal project Theatrical Marathon.
