Krasnoyarsk Opera House to take part in the social and cultural project We Are All Together
The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre won a grant to participate in the federal social and cultural project We Are All Together. Within the project, the opera soloists will present touring concerts dedicated to the Year of Memory and Glory honouring the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War in 2020.

The world premiere of the music diptych Leningrad Symphony will be conducted by Ivan Velikanov
Ivan Velikanov is going to take to the conductor's stand on September 6 and 7 - the days the 43rd season of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will open. In August 2020, the young conductor joined the theatre’s team.

Les Mamelles de Tirésias by Francis Poulenc to be shown at the Golden Mask festival in early October 2020
The National Theatre Award Golden Mask 2020 has resumed the competition interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, some of the festival’s performances will be shown to spectators and experts at the theatres where they were created. Among them is the production of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre: opera-buff by Francis Poulenc Les Mamelles de Tirésias.

The Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre opens the 43rd season with the diptych Leningrad Symphony
The theatre’s 43rd season opens on September 6 and 7 with the world premiere of the music diptych, the story of courage: The Leningrad Symphony to the music of Alexei Syumak and Dmitri Shostakovich.

Yekaterina Bulgutova is given the title of Honoured Artist of Russia
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed Decree #304. According to the document, principal dancer of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre Yekaterina Bulgutova is awarded the title of Honoured Artist of the Russian Federation.

The theatre suspends its activities until May 31
The Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Region Alexander Uss decided to prolong the self-isolation regime. In the decree #115-ug of 05/11/2020, the previously taken preventive measures including cancelling public events are extended until May 31. That’s why all the events of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre are suspended until May 31.

The 180th anniversary of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
Today the world of culture celebrates the 180th anniversary of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - the genius who presented real music gems to humanity. The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre performs more works of Tchaikovsky than of any other composer. The theatre’s repertoire includes eight works to Pyotr Ilyich’s music.

On April 18, People's Artist of the USSR Vladimir Vasiliev celebrates his 80th anniversary. Vladimir Viktorovich Vasiliev is a true legend of world ballet, dancer, choreographer, actor, production director, ballet teacher. Vladimir Viktorovich has been effectively cooperating with the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre form many years.

The theatre suspends its activities until May 10
Dear spectators, difficult epidemiological situation in the Krasnoyarsk Region does unfortunately not change, and its inhabitants still have to follow the self-isolation regime declared by the Governor Alexander Uss. All the events of the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre are suspended until May 10.

The theatre suspends its activities until April 30
Dear spectators, on April 2, Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the Russians: he noted that the peak of the epidemic is only approaching, and he announced that the non-working period is prolonged until the end of the month. Also, the self-isolation regime declared by Governor Alexander Uss is maintained in the Krasnoyarsk Region until further notice.
