The international festival “Stars Parade in the Opera” is in full swing! On March 3, the opera “Iolanta” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky will be performed in the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Dmitri Hvorostovsky.
On February 28, the Bolshoi theatre’s soloists Oksana Gorchakovskaya and Honoured Artist of Russia Mikhail Kazakov as well as the former soloist of our theatre, now the singer of the Yekaterinburg Opera and Ballet Theatre Sergei Osovin will sing on our stage. They’ll play parts in the opera “Prince Igor” which the IX international festival “Stars Parade in the Opera” will be continued with. Maestro from Slovakia Peter Feranec is at the conductor’s stand.
The Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre’s soloist Svetlana Cheremnova won the international competitive festival “Siberia lights up” that took place in Krasnoyarsk on February 15-19. She was awarded in the nomination “Academic vocal. Solo - professional”.
Moscow music theatre Helikon Opera’s soloists will sing on our theatre’s stage for the first time. On February 21, Irina Samoylova and Igor Morozov play main roles in “Sadko” by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov. The performance is a part of the festival “Stars Parade in the Opera”.
The Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre is officially named after Dmitri Hvorostovsky. The relevant documents were received some days before.
Today the guest performances of the Alexandrinsky Theatre (St.Petersburg) started in the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet theatre.
