Between September 27-29, leading soloists of the Krasnoyarsk Opera’s ballet company Yuri Kudryavtsev and Yekaterina Bulgutova will take part in three gala concerts to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Marius Petipa in the birthplace of the great choreographer.
On October 27, the children's opera Terem-Teremok will be performed on the stage of the Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre. Seven orphanage students at the ages of three to six years will take part in it. The Igor Polsky’s musical tale performance is a part of the social project Family as a Gift carried on by the theatre along with the “Krasnoyarsk without Orphans” Initiatives Alliance for the fourth time.
On November 7 the Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk Opera and Ballet Theatre will introduce the Alexander Glazunov’s ballet Raymonda choreographed by Marius Petipa as edited by Yuri Grigorovich.
In November, an audience has the chance to see the run-through of the children’s opera show Peter Pan on the stage of the Hvorostovsky Opera House.
The Hvorostovsky Krasnoyarsk State Opera and Ballet Theatre is touring to Astrakhan. From June 19 till 22, our artists will perform two shows in the Astrakhan State Opera and Ballet Theatre: the première of the 40th season - Giuseppe Verdi's opera Il Trovatore directed by the young director Maria Tikhonova, and the ballet opera based on Georges Bizet’s Carmen directed by Artistic Director of our theatre, Honoured Artist of Russia Sergei Bobrov.
